With two campuses located in Kalmar and Växjö, Sweden, Linnaeus University has plenty of exciting opportunities with over 150 degrees and 2,500 single subject courses including humanities, engineering, business, computer science, religious studies, journalism, and much more. Linnaeus University has a large population of International students, around 900 full year students. Linnaeus is dedicated to providing meaningful academic opportunities and to cultivate free-flowing ideas of their students.

The buddy program at Linnaeus matches international students with (mostly Swedish) students. The buddies help the international students with day-to-day questions, introducing them to Swedish culture and way of life as well as what it is like being a student at Linnaeus University.

Summer Program
Duration: Typically mid July to mid August
This exchange program includes:
  • Housing and classes in the beautiful medieval city of Kalmar, Sweden.
  • Workshop-oriented course with a strong student focus.
  • Classes in Art, Communication, Media, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, and Psychology
  • Our extensive social program will give you enhanced knowledge about Swedish culture and society as well as about the city and its surroundings.
  • The program offers organized day-trips and weekend excursions as well as outdoor and sports activities, and cultural events. We also offer optional excursions in the weekends.
