Congratulations! We are so excited your student is considering studying abroad. For most students, living in another country is a life-changing and transformative experience. Thank you for supporting and encouraging your student to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

Mercer University encourages students to participate in transformative learning opportunities outside of the classroom. Studying abroad is a wonderful way to take advantage of these life-changing experiences Mercer offers. With many of our students studying abroad, our office has developed well respected exchange, affiliate, and faculty-led programs. Mercer’s Study Abroad Office works to make these opportunities accessible, so that students of all socioeconomic backgrounds can go abroad.

We know you may have a few questions about what it would like for your student to study abroad. Below you can find links with a general overview of study abroad, information on safety abroad, and available scholarships that will hopefully ease any concerns you may have.
